What were your expectations before attending Foam Expo 2025? High expectations, looking forward to meeting old acquaintances and new ones, hoping to receive a larger flow of people than last year.
What was your first impression when you arrived at the event? Very excited about the new challenge.
What kind of companies and professionals attended the exhibition? Companies from the packaging, converting, automotive and aeronautics sectors.
How was the reaction of the public when they learned about Dimaes’ solutions? Surprised by the newest in packaging gluing technology, incredulous when we shared our experience with cutting machines and saw that we could perform processes with this technology.
What machines or technologies did we present at the booth? Automatic hotplate with two stations and two heads; manual hotplate area of 60×60 cm; manual hotmelt with press; 35-ton mobile carriage type die cutter and 50-ton four-column type die cutter.

What kind of companies and professionals attended the exhibition? This was an event where the visitors were decision makers within their companies. They were clients or work groups that knew perfectly well their needs, limitations and operational scopes. It was a very qualified audience.
We had the opportunity to do live demonstrations and how did the attendees respond? Of course, we were the only booth that did live tests during the entire event. We used both our materials and some that the customers themselves brought from their workplaces. They loved this, as they were able to see with their own eyes the real potential and limits of the machine.
What was the most common comment we received about our machines: that they are very innovative, robust, state of the art and very easy to operate.
Were there any visitors or customers who surprised us by their interest or knowledge? Yes, several customers surprised us by their high technical level in materials, processes and geometries. In turn, we surprised them with the real capabilities of our machines.
What type of applications or industries showed the most interest in our solutions? We had strong interest from industries such as foam, packaging, boxes and specialized converting.

We were able to make strategic contacts or establish potential alliances during the show.
Were we able to establish strategic contacts or potential alliances during the fair? Yes, we were able to connect with professionals from various industries such as packaging, footwear and others with specialized cutting and laminating processes. It was a great opportunity to open new business possibilities.
What technologies or innovations from other exhibitors caught our attention? We were particularly impressed by the extruders and pelletizers we saw during the show.
What lessons or new ideas did we take away from the event? We took away the idea of continuing to automate our follow-up processes, especially to send quotes and information in a more agile and efficient way.
How would you describe the overall organization of Foam Expo 2025? The organization was very good. Some details that arose did not depend directly on the event, but Oscar and César managed to solve them in an excellent way, with the support of the engineering team.
What challenges did we face during the exhibition (logistics, language, etc.)? In general, we did not face any major challenges. There were only some minor complications.
Foam Expo 2025 was more than an exhibition: it was a space to show what we are capable of doing, to listen to those who actually use our solutions, and to continue learning as a team.
